This event was the Christmas Lights switch on and was organised by Trafford MBC and the Sale Square Shopping Centre. English weather hits extremes at times and it coincided with our belly dance performance at this event! During the days before the event the news was full of stories of blizzards, whole areas completely cut off, and there was genuine doubts if the event could even happen. So far as the Urban Gypsies were concerned - a few more layers - and plenty of movement!
So inspite of the bitter cold our belly dance performances drew massive crowds - this is the 3rd appearance organised by Trafford MBC of our Tribal Belly Dance group.
