Style of Belly Dance Fun, participative and non-judgemental.  Like a village group coming together.  Both belly dance classes are very welcoming and many of the intermediate ladies are game for anything!  A lot of the students have developed a costume style that incorporates the earthy gypsy colours and recycling themes of the Urban Gypsies Tribal Belly Dance group. 

Beginners Belly Dance class Tues 7.30 to 8.30pm 

The aim is to develop skills and moves to build on and to give confidence to the dancers.   All ages, fitness levels, shapes and sizes. £.3.50 per class. PS Cost will go up to £4.00 from the 1st May 07

Venue:   The Stalybridge Civic Hall. The entrance is round the back of the building shown in the photo below 

 Directions:

The Stalybridge Civic Hall is in the centre of Stalybridge and the classes are in a fabulous new Studio on the 1st floor. There is natural daylight and a lovely wooden floor.  Address is Trinity Street.  The Civic Hall is the old Covered (Victoria) Market, next to the Post Office and by the canal.    The entrance is at the back of the building (i.e. not the old market entrance). Parking is either in the small carpark at the front of the hall or just across the road in Tescos carpark.  We have permission to park in Tescos.
