A really nice and large purpose built Dance Studio at the Didsbury Sports Centre which is located on the Manchester Metropolitan University campus in Didsbury. Postcode is M20 2RR.

The directions are divided into 2 parts first part are directions coming from the M60 and up the Kingsway and the 2nd part are directions coming from Didsbury Village

The Studio is a staggering 70 ft x 70 ft so lots of room for the Tribal Belly Dance workshops

Location of Venue 

 Is on the Manchester Metropolitan University campus in Didsbury. This is about 1/4 mile from Didsbury Village heading away from Manchester up Wilmslow Road at the point where this road bears round to the left

The actual entrance is a very short distance up Didsbury Park Rd which is a turning off Wilmslow Rd. Detailed photos and directions below

1 -  If you are coming from the west side of Manchester - say from Stretford, Trafford Centre area etc then come off at J3 and head straight on. If you are coming from the East side of Manchester - say Stockport, Ashton etc come off at J3 but you will have to go up the Kingsway "the wrong way" and you will have to find the first opportunity to go the other way towards Manchester on the Kingsway. The Kingsway is the A34 that is a large dual carriageway road that ultimately goes to Manchester city centre

2 -  Once you join the Kingsway, you will come to this junction after about 400 yds. You will notice the blue building on your right and Tesco's just a short distance further on on the left. Turn left at these lights.

3 -  Very soon you will pass under this bridge. This is the view LOOKING BACKWARDS this is East Didsbury railway station.

5 - At this junction you turn right into Didsbury Park Rd - though the road sign says just Didsbury Park.

6 - The entrance to the Sports Centre is only about 300 yds up Didsbury Park Rd on the left hand side. In fact it is a smallish track turning to the right hand side of this large white house which is Didsbury House referred to above

You will not see any prominent sign only the Metropolitan University Staff car park sign on the stone wall

Because this is quite a hard entrance to spot - this photo shows the entrance and the white house looking backwards towards the lights with Wilmslow Rd and you will see the Towers Business Park sign in the distance.

1 - Going through Didsbury Village up Wilmslow Rd away from Manchester you will come to this well known landmark - Ye Olde Cock Inn. At this point the main road bears round to the left and the main campus is on the left 

2 - Just after this bend you will see the traffic lights with the Tower Business Park on the right and Didsbury Park Rd is the road you turn left into
